The Hannibal Cavemen began their inaugural season in the Prospect League in June of 2009 at a renovated Samuel Clemens Field, recently declared a historic federal landmark.

2012 Cavemen Announced!
Among those are four returning players: pitchers AJ Martin and Dustin Lawson, outfielder/pitcher Trey Lang, and outfielder/infielder Zach Nichols, who starred at Hannibal High School in 2010.
A Historic Ballpark
Clemens Field was constructed in 1937/38 as a WPA project. The field was named after Hannibal’s Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain.
